Dr. Perkins is a native Washingtonian. He graduated with a B.A. from Tulane University and obtained his medical degree from Hahnemann University with honors. He completed his residency at Rush Medical Center.

Dr. Perkins combines his clinical practice with weekly academic training of Dermatology residents at the Washington Hospital Center, where he is a staff Attending Dermatologist. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology and the Board of National Medical Examiners.
